Wooden farm gate opening onto golden fields

About

A passion for little hearts that know their Creator

We are not a church

God's Green Acres Farm and Sanctuary is a children's faith-and-creation ministry. We do not hold Sunday services. We do not take the place of a local church. Families belong in congregations. We belong in the garden, the kitchen, the hospital hallway, and the page of a picture book.

Our work is smaller than a program and older than a brand. We want children to know the God who made the soil they stand on — and to have a story, a skill, and a verse they can keep.

Why this exists

A child's mind is like a jell-o fruit salad. The whole idea is to get the good stuff in before the jell-o sets.

That line has been carried for about thirty years. It is the reason the books exist, the lessons exist, and the farm name exists. Scripture. A garden. A book that tells the truth. Kindness that has dirt on its hands.

We want children to notice God's fingerprints — in a leaf, a bird on the feeder, a seed that only He can make grow — before the noise of the world writes over them. We are not in a hurry to look large. We are in a hurry to be faithful while the heart is still soft.

The farm is the classroom

Rows, jars, a path through the garden — these are not decorations. They are how a child learns that creation has a Maker, and that the Maker is good.

The sanctuary is a meadow and a bench. Come if you need quiet. Write if you want to help.
